Welcome to my often-crazy, adrenaline-fueled world!

I practiced corporate law in a big Minneapolis firm for sixteen years until the fabulous day I set aside my pointy-toed shoes (well, most of them) and escaped the land of mergers and acquisitions to write novels. My women's fiction books are more serious, my young adult books more goofy, so if you put them together (and throw in some sports) they make up ... me.

        MY FIRST NANOWRIMO:  SCORE!

In November 2010 I participated for the first time in National Novel Writing Month, a worldwide challenge to write at least 50,000 words on a new novel.  With 56,000 words, I did it!  Even better, I love the NaNo book I wrote:  RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN.  Can't wait to do NaNo again!
